The Enemy

Absolute fantastic gig in a brilliant venue at The Tivoli Buckley

The Enemy, The Tivoli, Buckley - 29th July 2023

Great as always

The venue is intimate and provides a great view of the stage from almost every location. The Enemy always put on a great show, their enthusiasm bursts out from the stage and the audience reciprocate... their songs resonate and Clarke, Hopkins & Watts are masters of their trade. My only criticism is that they only played for just under an hour! All media posts prior to the gig stated timings of 2100hrs to late, with a curfew at midnight... it was all over at 2200hrs leaving many of the audience confused and stuck in Buckley as their cabs were not booked until 2300hrs.... Appreciate this was a warm up gig for Kendall Calling but Buckley is not an easy place to get to & we deserved a bit more... Won't stop me seeing them again this year....

Amazing performance by The Enemy

I’ve wanted to see The Enemy for a long time and was made up when I found out they were performing locally to me. They didn’t let me down either. Although the set was a little on the short side, at only an hour, they managed to pack most of their hits into it. Each one was perfect and reminded me of why I love this band! The support act The Blueberry Hawks were really good as well and I will be definitely having more of a listen to them. I fully appreciate that The Tivoli is definitely an old school venue and having been to loads of these facilities I know what to expect, however I would be very interested to know what the official capacity of that place is in relation to how many tickets were sold as it was packed and at times did feel a bit too full.

Brilliant but too short

The Enemy are fantastic live, loved it.. But I thought the set was a bit short and expected them to be on for more than an hour..
