The Rifles Singles Tour, Manchester Club Academy, Manchester - 5th October 2018

The Rifles don’t disappoint, still don’t understand how they aren’t Filling bigger venues. A succession of top quality tunes had the crowd bouncing from start to finish. First Class

The Rifles (acoustic), Gorilla, Manchester - 12th May 2017

Only my second time in Gorilla in Manchester but a quality venue with excellent staff and decent drinks/prices. Ive seen The Rifles live a few times but this is the first acoustic set and really enjoyed it -the band has good options when it comes to song choices and they did all the favorites-Minute Mile and Local Boy went down really well and the crowd was decent enough. Top night all round.

Chingford indie rock band The Rifles have been an unstoppable force since the release of debut album No Love Lost in the Summer of 2006. Their follow up album Great Escape saw them rise up the charts and was followed by Freedom Run and None The Wiser. Their latest album, entitled Big Life, has continued their domination of the charts.

The band members include drummer Grant Marsh, Dean Mumford on keys, vocals shared by guitarists Joel Stoker and Lucas Crowther with Rob Pyne on bass.

Earlier in the year saw them embark on an acoustic tour which reinterprets their incredible back catalogue and explores an intimate stripped-down sound.

Now they have announced a tour which takes them to Manchester’s Night and Day, Bristol Fleece and The Borderline in London during January followed by Nottingham’s iconic Rock City in February 2019.

The Rifles tickets for their acoustic tour will soon become available. Expected to fly off the shelves, you can set a personal reminder with Gigantic to arrive via text message or email so you are ready for their release at 09:00 Friday 16th of November.

Inspired by the attitude of Oasis after attending their Knebworth concert, the four lads formed the band in 2003 whilst in college. Their first official release was the 7” demo Peace & Quiet which was quickly followed by the 2005 single When I’m Alone and Local Boy, the latter of which would benefit from airplay on Soccer AM.

Initial album No Love Lost would prove popular in indie circles, however their break came with second LP Great Escape which was championed by the likes of Zane Lowe who would declare it the Hottest Record In The World on his BBC Radio 1 show. They have continued to sit comfortably in the Top 40 with each further album release.

As we only have limited supplies of The Rifles concert tickets for their acoustic tour we do urge you to book quickly before they are all snapped up. Stick with Gigantic for the very best selection of essential gig tickets for the most enjoyable experience.
