Bis, the pioneering Scottish indie-pop trio, emerged in the mid-1990s with a fresh and infectious sound that captivated audiences worldwide. Hailing from Glasgow, Bis (short for "Bisexual") broke onto the scene with their catchy hooks, playful lyrics, and DIY ethos.


Comprising Manda Rin, Sci-Fi Steven, and John Disco, the band became synonymous with the riot grrrl movement and the burgeoning indie scene of the era. Tracks like "Kandy Pop" and "Eurodisco" propelled them into the mainstream, earning them a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim.
